Default gps tracking

What gps tracker are you guys using? I'm replacing my 350qx after a fly away and this time I want to track it incase of another fly away.

i was looking at flytrex live but it appears, in addition to having to solder it to the board i also have to get a sim card from a cellular company. The only one they have listed on their site is t-mobile which sucks in my area. I'd have to see if verizon would even work and then its another $10 a month.

if this is the best option i will do it. i dont wanna lose another, but was wondering what the other options were.

I figured if I'm going to pay for a sim card anyway, I might as well bite the bullet and use the Flytrex since its geared towards model aircraft.

Most everything else I've looked at was much bigger, less functional, and came from an overseas vendor which I doubt I'd ever be able to get support from.

what about marco polo. it is an rf tracker. looks like a solid unit, about the same price. i like the fact you can tell if your bird is stuck up in a tree

just reading up on the Flytrex 3G... looks like a pretty good unit. I have a GPS sensor that came from Sprint used to connect to a box in my house for boosting signal strength... I ma wondering if this could be hacked somehow to use as a tracking device.
