Default KDS Innova 600 V2

I am looking to increase flight time and wonder if any has used 4500 mAH 6S batteries instead of 3500 mAH ones. I get at least 6 minutes out of the 3500 mAH batteries but wonder if the 4500 will give a longer flight time. I only fly circuit. Am using normal head speed, probably slightly above 1,000 rpm. Would the 4500 batteries be too heavy for the stock Innova 600?

Theoretically you could fit 5000mah in it, it's basically the same airframe as the 700 but with different bearing blocks for a 10mm mainshaft instead of 12mm. Not sure how it would handle the weight though. On my 700 I get 8min flight times at 1800rpm. with 5000mah batteries.

Thanks Atomic Skull. Wow, 8 minutes at 1800 rpm - I wish my KDS 600 can do that too. I also have Trex 700 E which uses 5000 mah batteries giving flight time of about 5 minutes. The only reason I hesitate to buy the 4500 mah batteries for my KDS is because if it proves to be too heavy, it will also give shorter flight time for the Trex 700E if I use it with the latter. I just wonder who uses the 4500 mah batteries. My local hobby shop suggested to use 3500 mah batteries at the maximum which I could probably squeeze another 30 seconds of flight time (total = 6.5 minutes) when the cells will probably go down to about 3.8 v. on average.

I am running 5000mah in my 550, headspeed is running around 2600 and i get a flight time of 4 1/2 mins while only using around 60% of the battery

If it fits the 550 it will fit the 600. Weight wise the 550 doesn't care, its already quite a light airframe.

Thanks Imhereithink. I also have Trex 550 and the only battery I use for it are the 5000 to 6000 mAH ones. I get around 5-5.30 minutes of flight time, no 3D and the voltage goes down to 3.95 after the flight.
