Default Tail kick advice for you guys

Some of you probably already know this.

I could not for the life of me tune out the tail kick on my 230s night running the stock manual settings (spektrum preset for the 230s was used).

Got rid of the V throttle curves and put flat lines. Now the tail is rock solid. Flat 80% for IU1 and flat 90 for IU2. Not sure if 90 will give too high of a headspeed for the battery/night blades though.

It's hilariously solid compared to on the v-curves. Why they suggest v-curves is beyond me, the heli flies better on a flat line all together. Pitch is more predictable.

I have had mine set at 85 and 100 for some time now. I think it flies much better that way.

What setting i need to change on my dx6i for that?

In throtthle curve i put what?

Mine Throttle curve is set at:
0% - 25% - 50% - 75% - 100%

And need to select throttle hold active, right? To on and off main motor?

Also what pitch curve you use? Mine is set equal to throttle!

I do not do inverted flights or 3D

From the DX6i setup in the manual...

Use F-Mode Switch to select Throttle Curve...

Selecting IU Mode will keep the main motor speed constant...just change the STUNT settings to 85-85-85-85-85

And YES...use Throttle Hold to cut power to the motors
