Default CC Ice 75 & Scorpion 3026-1400

As the title of this topic states, I plan on running this combo in my 500. Will this setup work or should I upgrade to the CC Ice 100????

The Ice 100 is less than $20 more than the 75, just do yourself a favor and get the 100. It's best to have a little overhead with Castle anyway ...

I run the 3026-1400 on my HC500 with a Castle 100A. Only issue I have with this set up is the 1400 and the ESC run hotter then my 2 other 500's with the 1900 and an ICE 100A. I'll take a look at the logs later today and post back. If you have the extra couple of bucks....the 100A is a nice ESC.

Average current on the 500 is right around 30 amps. with the 1400 motor I was getting spikes around 85ish, on 6S but well within the 75s capabilities.

If you have no bought the ESC yet, the 100 is not any bigger, so might be prudent to go that route? But if you have the 75 I wouldn't worry about it, I fly mine pretty hard, and the 75 worked good!

I just put a 3026-1600 in my 500esp today.

With a 15 t pinion and using an ICE 75 ESC.

HS is set to 2400 RPM.

Much better than the 500L motor I had before.

But my mini V-Bar makes the heli wobble, like.

Cheers
Erik

I think you might need to up the headspeed try 2600 rpm

Is there any difference in performance between Align Bl 70 and Ice 100 ESC?

If yes? What are the advantages?
