Question Lynx battery tray

Just ordered a new lynx battery tray for my 550dfc. Now that the stock has only four holes what is the best way to go about lining it up to drill for the other two holes without missing the mark?

Should include a plastic drill jig/guide. Mine did - pretty straight forward to add the third hole. Just use the other two to bolt in place, then drill.

Interesting pic, is the bands part of the option or did you get creative?

Indeed, this is my non-velcro battery mod. Uses Goblin 700 o-rings (works for 5000 6 s or 4400 7s great).

The rubber gel pad in-between is the stick stuff you use to keep things on your dash, etc. that is attached to the tray via double sided duct tape.

Has worked great so far under various flight conditions. The Lynx tray is ideal with the extra hole to attach the bands and longer for better (anti-taco) battery support.
