Default 500mx mounting

took out the 500l, [wires on the bottom] and installing the 500mx [wires on the top]. what do i do, just flaten the wires where they hit the mounting plate?

Mine has a notch where the wires come out that let you flatten the wires so they are below the top of the motor then poked them out the side of the frame to meet the ESC mounted under the battery tray.

If you do as in the picture be sure to sand the edges where the wires go through the small hole. If you dont then one day the carbon fiber will have worked its way through the wires causing a short circuit. Instead of sanding it is also possible to just use some thick double addhesive tape on the edges.

I did sand mine but that reminds me, I was originally going to put something over the edges as well but forgot, thanks for the reminder
