I normally tend to only go inverted just before I crash !!

I did 3d one time about a year ago with my SR....it was breezy and had my pitch set up with very little negative pitch set, heli went up....an up an up, pulled back on stick, and she went upside down, and down and down hitting a tree (pine tree) didn't do a thing to it those soft needles and wispy branches broke the fall on it! :-)

I'm not sure if it's even released yet, but I gotta have one in the near future!

I checked out that heli, pretty nice! But kinda pricey.
Did you notice the tail in one shot? You could see it wagging a bit.
Still looks like a cool heli though, but like you I don't know about parts/availability also...I don't like having to use their radio also...I have enough of those! Lol

I feel the exact same way. I have enough radios, don't know what protocol their recievers run under so would definitely be stuck with their radio. As far as parts availability, I know they are sold by Hobby Town USA. There is a Hobby Town not too far from me, about 20 miles, but still don't know what kind of parts they stock, if any at all.

Seems like a nice little heli. I like the idea of the belted tail, but with all of the questions I would be hesitant on buying one. I would rather go with the Blade 230S.

Likewise. I'm not really into 3d yet either. The last time I tried to fly inverted I flew it pretty steady........pretty steady straight into the ground blades first. It was with an mCPX so luckily I only had to change the feathering spindle.

Just read on RCG that you can replace the stock satellite receiver on thw Optim 300CP with a Spektrum satellite reciever and use a Spektrum radio. Starting to sound a little better.

But I wonder if they sell a BNF model?
There is a Hobby town just a couple miles from me,
is where I bought my first SR. Hmm, they will probably have both models there when they are released! I can do compairison shopping!

Well, got my HK 250gt kit on Thursday. Started building it yesterday. So far all is going well. Got the heli all built and locktited. Just have to put all of the electronics on and set up a new model in my radio. Might get it finished today. Hopefully get a maiden flight today or tomorrow.

Still thinking about hitting the pre-order button on the 230s. I'll just have to hide it from my wife for a bit. She won't be too happy if I get another helicopter again.

I used to have the 250 kit, flew really nice...especially with the Spartan Quark gyro on it!
Ahhhh your gonna get in trouble with the wife! Lol

I think my SR is still jacked up! Tried to fly it and it was all over the place! Throttle really touchy....and right before I got ready to unplug it, there it went re initializing! Grrrrrr!

Maybe your recievers is going bad. Keeps frying the servos???????
