I paid in full for this very reason, and because of what bobloblaw said. Actually I spent almost 2K more excluding the kit cost on batts, ESC, FBL system and motor alone. I already had my servos.
Good point. I'm going to call today and see if I can pay in full instead of the small deposit. He said he had 60 coming and was going to notify me a few days before to let me know to have the funds ready ect... I'd rather pay the balance and not worry about it. Sad that they had to break up the initial shipment. BTW, does anyone know if they are going to be shipped with a few pinions or just the one? I ended up with an HKIII 4035-500 and have no idea what one I'd need. having 19T to 26T is a lot of options.

#13 for me. So far I've received fantastic service and communications from HeliDirect. Could not be happier ( except if I had a Goblin on the bench).
Same here, and Larry is always prompt at replying to email. #26

Choppedlow. Do you mean that HD says they are only getting 60. He told me that I'd be in the first batch and I'm #78

For those of us who were early enough to have our names put on the canopy I don't think it matters if we paid in full or put a deposit on it....We are gettin em when they arrive...

Not HeliDirect. I was going to be in line for the third batch so I did some snooping around. I heard a rumor that the Caribbean had a distributor so I did a little research and low and behold, they advertise on RRyder and I think here. They were right on SAB's distributor page as well. RCgalore.net or org or whatever. He has 60 coming and of last monday he still had 12 left. So I ordered a few. He might still have some left and I'm sure some people will back out. If anyone still is hell bent on getting a first batch Goblin, give him a call. Or email him and he will call you back. Guy is cool as it gets. He will ship for free to the US mainland.

Update. Just looked at his page (rcgalore.net) and he says he still has a limited number available from the first batch. Imagine that. Everyone scrambling to get in line, and you make a few clicks and your ready to get yours the fourth week of February. Isn't the internet a heck of a place!

The latest update we have is that the first shipment of heli's that will cover all of the preorders in Oz will ship at the end of this week. :-)

I doubt the 770 will be a great smack machine. Probably WAY too floaty. But the autos would be fun. Maybe with 750's, and heavy 14s packs it may feel OK.

I felt like 750s on 14s 4400 or 5000 would be the way to go, not sure I want a heavy 750mm blade 14s heli, I have flown the XXtreme and like it a lot just the way it is, but a little lighter wouldn't make it floaty at all to me, so keeping the 770 on a Kosmic with 14s motor and tp 7s lipos would be a beast.

I sent you a pm synergy

Same here dude, don't take that long to ship items around the world these days and since the pics all the pallet loads ready to go and still nothing, just emails from the stores saying yet another delay. Not thier fault I know but at least I got an xxtreme to keep me busy

It was posted on the Goblin site by Goblinadmin yesterday that they would all ship in 2 weeks or 10 business days. So RotorQuest would be correct.
