Default Need help with DX8 and Phoenix

I figured out how to set up my DX8 in my Phoenix flight sim.

Here's my question. I own and (try to) fly mostly smaller Blade Heli's now and have been working on the MSRx. When I fly my MSRx for real, I make minor adjustments on things like the D/R's, expos, throttle curve, trim changes etc to see how my MSRx flies with minor changes.

When I fly the MSRx in the Phoenix sim, I know I can make changes in the sim speed and edit the model.

But if I make changes to my DX8 when flying a sim in Phoenix; changes like trim, throttle curve etc. will the sim MSRx respond to those changes as would my real MSRx?

I'd like to practice making changes to my DX8 on the sim MSRx to see what happens before I try making those changes on my real MSRx.

Hope I asked that question correctly and didn't confuse everybody.

Go to Model -> Edit -> Options
Uncheck the "Use Preset Throttle Curve" box.
Under "Per-model control profile", check "enabled" and select your transmitter from the dropdown menu.
