Default I need help finding parts

Im trying to figure out what version of this helicopter that i bought? HE said it was the SJM 500 but there are no marking or anything on the helicopter. I have included links to the pictures and the damage. It would be great if i could get pointed in the right direction of where to get the parts from. This is my FIRST helicopter. the deals was 200 for the DX6i the helicopter and acessories and an extra receiver! I needed the transmitter for my plane so i jumped at this offer.

Hi,

yeah, looks like it's an SJM 500 V1.5 or V2, probably (since it has a 3-blade tail, also has the polished blade holders, it's definitely not a V1) - but also definitely not the newer 430 model.

You can get parts at RC-Tek.com for example - go here to grab a manual for your heli.

The tail boom looks pretty destroyed, definitely needs a replacement. The blades also should be replaced, most probably - you never know with CF whether even a small nick will destabilize the blade or not.

You can try posting over here, Scott from RC-Tek should be able to help you.

Regards,
Simon.

Did you have any luck chasing down parts? If not, give me a call sometime this weekend and I will lend a hand...
