Default DS285 Servo Question

Hi everyone,
I had a question about the JR DS285 servo's. I just got my Blade a couple days ago, and am aware of the cyclic servo problem. So, i have been looking at the different options. I would like to go with the JR's, but they seem to be equal in specs to the stock e-flite servo's. I have been looking at the plastic gear version of the 285's, due to initial cost, then, if i strip them, i will buy the metal gearset for them. The 285's put out the same torque as the e-flite's, and they are slower than the e-flite's at 4.8V's! Now, i will be running them at 6V, (BEC on the way), so they will be slightly more powerful, but still slower! I understand the JR's will center more precisely, but are these really more durable and better performing than the stock servo's?

O.K., after 3 batteries of hovering, setting up the gyro, i now realize how important good quality servo centering is! I could NOT trim the heli correctly. The cyclics would center themselves in different positions all the time. On the plus side, i got the gyro setup pretty good in head hold! No wag, no drift, and only one click of sub-trim! We'll see how it does over time!

I have DS285 on my Trex 450 and they are pretty good. They are better than the S75 regardless of what the numbers say. I think the numbers on the S75 are "optimistic"
