Default New tail control set - which pushrod?

Hey Guys,

Has anyone got any ideas which pushrod is best, the one that comes with the new tail control set (metal) or the original carbon?

It seems as though the metal might be good because it has those two very smooth guides but does it link up well with the servo ie a straight shot between the ball links?

Thanks everyone

I use the original carbon one, but modified with another threaded piece and a ball link. So ball links on both ends.

I didnt want to tear my entire tail assembly apart so I am still runing the old carbon push rod with the HOOK in the HV holder. BUT I know a few guys that went to the new rod and it works good but nothing the old one didnt do.

just use one of the extra ball links u get with the spares and change the z-bend to a straight tie rod, thread on your ball link and your done.ball lnks on servo side and tail side.

Just installed the new pushrod, I found it allows a much straighter shot down the boom ie the rod is bent less than with the old one. Its much smoother too. Cant wait to see if it helps get rid of some of my unwanted tail twitchiness...
