Thats it... My machine is sometimes called a IH Clone.... Machine Tool Warehouse in Canada sells the manual mill at a better price then IH but IH sells it as a turn key CNC with servo's

Update on the new mill. It is mostly done!

Here is a video showing how the power drawbar works:
http://youtu.be/OaBh9EtNZ8w

If you look at my other videos you can see the first cut, the VFD (speed control) for the motor and some other stuff.

I need to settle down now and tweek the mill and get it fine tuned.

Here are a few pictures

I cut a set of bearing mounts and was not to happy with the results. I'm worried that if the tolerance varies from one Align kit to another that I might have issues with the main shaft being to tight.

For now I have decided to go back to a setup that more closely resembles the 600 frame.

That is the 700 kit and it comes with aluminum spacer blocks that are threaded to 2.5mm. The frame has simple through holes.

Here is a picture of the 550 frame I will be finalizing in a few days.

Kelly, Since you closed up shop, do you have any file available? Any stock left?

Hi Peter,

I still have have my shop but no longer produce items for sale to the general public.

If anyone needs replacement frames or parts they can contact me though
www.regan-homes.com. The CNC Effects web site should be redirecting hits to that site on its own.

I have crashed one of those frames twice. Last crash was full collective into ground at max speed. Frame still perfect.
