I know this is a old thread. The ? does anyone know of somewhere else I can get the Spektrum neck strap adapter horizon shows available mid July. Thx for any info.

I did the mod like Bob's radio that (Tickitytoc) came up with. Not the easiest thing to do got to be careful with the lcd. Put a blue led in the left over hole. Works very well. Thanks for the pic Bob and the idea Tickitytoc. :glasses2:

Aluminum Rod 3Ft Item # 11273 $4.96
8-32 x 3/4 Socket head screws item # 135947 $1.27
#6 SS flat washer item # 882045 $0.92
nylon spacer...couldn't find the right size (5/16") $0.56
Spacer goes around the screw inside the clip ring.

Thanks Bull, I will probably end up doing the LED mod, I am just not ready to take my Tx apart right now. I hardly use a strap anyway.

I just received my DX7and I am very happy with it .

here is what I bought less then $10 and you can still use the stock location with it installed if you like. Also the power switch is very easy to get to the Hand Flat sits perfectly. and installs in 30secs. or less.

Here is one a friend of mine makes and sells. PM Helifreak user Fireup if you want one. I think he charges $15

I love it because the strap ring is sideways and the open loop design allows easy access to the switch.
