Well I have 3 1s 600mah walkera packs for the mini quad and NEW V120D02S. One pack has over 300 flights and shows no signs of age. My nanotech packs all craped out at around 300 flights.

Well, after a lot of petering around today iTOOK the quad for more testing and a FPV maiden. After testing I found both VTX and gogs were out of battery so no FPV. I did push out a ways and gave RTL a good couple of fair returns. I testes loiter and it was rock steady with light wind. Trust is returning but the long RTLs felt like the first ever RTL. I am pleased.

Chad, so sorry for the incident, very glad you're coming back online .
Went on single dad duty this month (my 16yo daughter is on her annual summer vacation visit from NJ) so between some crazy customers who actually want some work done for the money they deposit in my account (bastards!) and father-daughter time I'm just catching up on this month's threads. She actually likes to accompany me to the flying field (if it's not too often) and even flies hexa on trainer radio under the goggles (I takeoff and land on master radio and she does the rest), so I can't complain. A week ago she went 600m out with minimum signal trouble, and yesterday she got up 6am for the historical downtown shoot (she's the redhead on the vid), so I'm a happy dad .

Default Power Filter?
So I have a filter running off a 2s powering VTX/fpv cam. Should I add a ferrite ring to the filter output wires to VTX?

You could, then compare interference. If no detectable difference, it's just a dead weight. No filter necessary on the power supply if you powering your video stuff from 2s battery IMHO, the current from the battery is as clean as it gets.
