Default V2 parts on my V1???

2 quick qusetions for you guys, my buddy gave me some spare v2 parts from his 550 I have a v1.
He gave me a complete v2 tail case, and a pair of v2 main and tail drive gears with a kde "bling" hub.

1. Will these parts just swap out or is there something else I need to know or change.

2. the v2 main and tail drive gear, is there a spacer or washer that is supposed to go between the 2 gears or does the hub just ride on the tail gear? See pic

You have a nice buddy.
1. The tail box is 100% compatible with V1 boom. Actually, the boom is te same between V1 and V2. The tail pitch slider is different between v1 and v2. In case you need to change it later.
The KDE UMGC main gear hub is V2 spec. The one way shaf is different.

2. Yes there's a washer between the main and auto gears. It is the same size as the V1. You can use the existing one.

Another thing to note is the main gear may have different modulation. Hard to tell from the picture, but looks like it is still the mod.7 straight gear which is the same as the V1 gear.

Happy flying
