Default Tail Output shaft assembly

Ok, I'm having issues getting the pin out. AUD 3066 SPRING PIN .....$ 1.99
Any tricks? What tools do you use? Something that seems so simple.

Also, I have to replace the bent shaft AUD-1004. Should I automatically replace AUD-1005 Tail Slide Ring Sleeve
and AUD-3074 Bearings?

Thanks...

John sells a tapered punch that works perfect. It was cheap and made the job super easy. I resisted at first, then made the purchase...it was really worth it. If the sleeve looks true and the bearings spin fine I'd reuse them. Wouldn't hurt to get some spares anyway. Hope this helps.

Johns punch works great! Eyball the slider and if looks in good shape and slides on the shaft without and problems. Use it. I have never had one go bad.

The tool you need is an PDR0095, Drift, 2mm and if you look on our website for any of the related parts, e.g. PDR0095, AUD1004, AUD0011, or AUD3066 you'll see some pictures and simple instructions for a wooden jig, which show how to best do the job. Like this . . .

. . . I hope this helps.

What I have done when I pull that pin, is I take a allen wrench and then I use a vise and just tighten the vise to push the pin out. You will need to use a piece of wood or something with a hole so the pin can slide into it. Then to put back in make sure it is lined up and slowly squeeze it back into place.

Done that as well.
The wood jig works well with JB's punch.
I only use the punch to remove the pin. The vice trick works every time to press the pin home.
