I have zero interest in it which is great news IMO. I have a lot of effort and money in my current 300x and really the last thing I need is to start lusting after a new version. The only thing that would make me happier about all this is if that frame is easily retrofitable. With the weight being less than 20g heavier than the old one, and all the other billet they added, the frame must be pretty light. Maybe even lighter than the old one with a stiffener. I would be all over that!

Almost bought a 300X a month ago. Glad I waited! This looks to be a great improvement. If I have any nits to pick, I wish it had:
1) DFC
2) the tail servo tucked into the frame vice attached to the boom
3) metal tail parts
I'm still planning to buy one, since it looks like a great value.

Size, size, size....this thing is calling my name for my local park.

Plus when GoNitro gets ahold of this on ebay the prices and extras will be very good.
Like the 450X

Lipstick on a pig.

They didn't improve anything that was actually wrong with the bnf except the blades and maybe the frame. The frame looks nice but is no improvement over the stock w frame brace. I guess you could consider that an improvement since it doesn't come stock.

At least parts for my 300 will be Avila le for a while.

What's wrong with pigs?

And why are your 300 parts in Spain?

the micro 700 layout is really cool.

the only stock part i dont like is the motor after my 450x experience. but other than that, i never had any issues with the servos or esc. if your crashing, something has to break. so servo gears arent a bad thing.

This is off of Blade's Facebook page when i asked them if the parts were interchangable

"Most parts, yes. There are really only 11 new parts for the CFX."

Looks pretty slick to me, and it is really easy to complain, but the greatest thing is if you dont like something, you can change it!

If they had upgraded the motor, and ESC and put better MG servos in it it would be even more expensive and everyone would still be complaining about it...

Others may have different views, but who is it in product design that thinks canopies should be sky blue and white? Obviously someone who never flies outdoors or they would know better.

I'm waiting to see the parts list. Is this using the same 300x aluminum upgrades that many haven't liked?

I kind of question the weight spec. They've added a lot of CF and aluminum for the 19g they added to the spec. How thin are the CF plates in the frame? It'll be interesting to see if the ESC is a different part number; maybe they saved some weight on that 300x overweight item.

300CFX should be an outstanding heli! I'm really impressed with the entire package. Looking forward to the 450CFX.

DX6 looks incredible and the features for the price can't be beat. Is a new black DX8 in the works, I hope so!

Finally Phoenix V5!

Nice work Horizon / Blade

Don't knock it 'til you fly it. This blue really pops, I'm told by James & Brian.

Perhaps, but the canopy doesn't "pop" as much as other colors would against the partly cloudy sky Horizon has chosen for the primary product photo on the web site.
