Default how many cycles

Hey guys, I'm new to lipo batteries. I was just wondering how many charge/discharge cycles could you get out of these. Lets say your meticulous and treat you batteries with great care, are we talking a couple hundred, couple thousand? thanks...

Are we talking typical larger packs like 6s5000s? Probably 100 for most cheap brands but Gens Ace and Pulse Ultras (and other higher end brands) are proving to get 200.. most I've heard is 250... but then they inevitably they gradually become weaker as they cannot put out the enough current.

The tiny packs for micros? I have no idea.. they are so cheap they are disposable and when I have a 130X I had 10 of them and never kept track.

The results depend on the flying style. In that thread he isn't stressing the packs at all as they are in 12s setup. He is apparently only pushing 25c , so the article is worthless IMO.

What's wrong with not stressing the packs? You don't have to over-stress your flight packs to shorten their lives to compare which brand can take more over-stress. I love nanotech because they're lighter for its capacity compare to other brands. This means I can fly bigger capacity packs than normal and without weight penalty. And because of bigger capacity a certain current load means lower C discharge, and I don't need to charge to 4.20V, don't need to discharge them down to 20% left and that means I don't even need to balance-charge them every single time (to get the last bit of usable capacity per flight so fast charge is good). All these factors helps longevity. My nanotech 6S 25C 3000s hardly ever get warmer than body temperature after flying and despite flying them hard like I do my Thunder Power 70C 2250 the nanotech are not sweating compare to the Thunder Power because of the capacity difference.

I've put 250+ flights on my nanotech 6s 25c 3000 packs and they're still going strong and have lower internal resistance than my Thunder Power 2250. The nanotech 3000s are lighter and are less than half the price of the Gens Ace 55c 2600, and last longer because of less stress despite flying same as hard or harder. What's wrong with not stressing the flight packs?
