Default New blade 500

Sweet looking new blade 500. For $850 out of my price range though.
http://www.bladehelis.com/Products/D...ProdId=BLH4080
I'm loving the 300 and 450 though. Sold on both.

Seems a bit expensive... even thought it doesn't say what it comes with... just comparing it with other fbl 500s..

Wow, fantastic offerings HH.

I'll probably get the 300X, it's almost a foregone conclusion. Coincidentally I was just looking at the new T-Rex 250 Pro... you know, window shopping.

Just get it out to us down under, and get it (and the spares) to us in prices comparable to the US.

Think the video presence is still processing on some sites. But should be here if you scroll down.

Nice to see them coming out with new stuff. Also pretty nice they are offering the 500 in FB and FBL versions.

Would love to see a DX6i revamp maybe. Better sticks like the DX8, better screen, back lighting, more switch positions AND still have the option of just using 4 AA batteries. Hi-res + 11 ms would be nice too.

I cannot justify buying a DX7s at the moment the cost difference between it, as offered, and the DX8 (radio only) is not all that significant.

And that money needs to go to a 300X as well

It says what it comes with in the features section

Of course being rtf it's all eflite and spectrum electronics.

Not a heli I'm interested in, but if you where looking for a heli to learn on and then move on to bigger and better it's not that bad. Not great either but no one expects it to be the TDR of the 500's.

True, but when you compare it to a T-Rex 550....Granted you have some DIY there but still...

I've already got a 500 size, so it may be the 300 for me.

if you upgrade your DX6i to DSMX 2048 and 11ms are part of the DSMX spec so all DSMX upgraded DX6i's have that

My DX6i does DSMX but as far as I know it does not bind at 11ms/2048. But this is a small thing really.

Sticks aren't as nice as a DX7s or DX8 either. Bigger deal (but again not a 'must change it now' factor). As with the backlighting. Again, nice to have 3 positions for the gyro and/or flight mode. But again not a biggie.

Basically I'll fly this DX6i to the ground and then decide on something else, at present, the upgrade will be probably a 7s or 8 depending on price.

Yes it's expensive, just because it's BNF doesn't remove the bottom dollar.

It will be a great value being BNF and pre-built but somebody's cash flow will dictate what the opinion of "expensive" is, not the personal value it will hold
