here is a list of upgraded parts i recommend
better landing skids unless yours comes with the new stronger ones. the black ones break easy, if you get align skids remember to get skid pipes too.. http://www.anythingheli.com/align-50...ro-500efl-pro/ http://www.anythingheli.com/gaui-x5-...ce-set-208971/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- longer blade grip bolts so the threads are not rubbing in the blade grip hole.. http://www.anythingheli.com/align-ma...ro-600efl-pro/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- turnbuckles so you can dial in blade tracking to a T, there is a tool to adjust these but i did not put a link http://www.anythingheli.com/da-vinci...to-grips-44mm/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- frame stiffener and battery fence, save your batter and motor in a crash http://www.anythingheli.com/products...PLATE-KIT.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- kbdd tail blades the stock ones are lousy http://www.anythingheli.com/kbdd-84-...range-gaui-x5/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ kbdd dampers http://www.anythingheli.com/kbdd-411...mpers-gaui-x5/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- swash leveling tool http://www.anythingheli.com/precisio...veler-gaui-x5/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- these magnetic canopy mounts are nice but not needed, i want to get some some day http://www.anythingheli.com/quickuk-...-gaui-x5-rear/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if you dont like silver get align tail boom braces http://www.anythingheli.com/align-ta...e-pro-gaui-x5/

the X4 tail box is a really nice upgrade, it had no slop compared to the X5 tail.
Fits with no mods too.

Also the KDE boom supports are awesome and same with the Gaui X5 CF landing gear. The landing gear is a bit costly the first time you buy them but replacement plates are cheap and I've had many many hard landings but haven't had any of the ages even so much as crack yet. They are awesome looking and super strong
