Default Tail rotor slips on shaft

After a flight or two, the grub screw holding my tail rotor on the TT shaft always loosens up enough to cause problems. It doesn't slide completely off, but it loosens and allows for some play up and down the TT gear shaft. Is there a way to fix this? I already used plenty of loctite and make the grub screw nice and tight.

Same thing happened to me the other day....I am not aware of any fix, I just ensured the set screw was centered, loctite, and tightned more than I did in the past. Allowed to dry and I layed a slight bead of torque seal as visible sight of insepction.

The set screw is supposed to be inside the groove in the shaft right?

Yes, but some move it out further. You can actually just buy that single part for your tail you know

Use blue loctite past in the tube like tipstick, place a small amount in the hole and on the set screw threads. When you tighten down the screw is will force the loctite down and around the shaft. Make sure there isn't any oil residue on any of the parts prior and rest assure you will need a puller to get it back apart again.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one. I crashed once, found the problem (tail slipping on shaft), figured I must've spaced on getting it locktited, put it all back together, made sure it was good, flew again, SAME PROBLEM, but got it landed because of my immense experience with the problem

Now, I have used my dremmel to make a nice flat spot on the shaft, and locktited. It actually has a little play now (back and forth), but it is not backing out anymore. I stripped the hex trying to eliminate the play, so now it is in there until it fails again.
