Default Pitch turnbuckles for Protos 500

If anyone is interested in these, be aware that these are 42mm in length and therefore only good for short main rotor hub that now comes standard with the heli kit. If you have the normal hub that came on the standard (non-stretched) Protos for years, these turnbuckles are too short. HeliOption makes a suitable product for the normal head that came with the non-stretched Protos.

Bwahhhh....I wish I had read this before buying 3 sets. Do you know why they only come with 4 buckles? 3 for swash + 2 for pitch = 5. I do suppose that only 2 on the swash would be fine.

They come 2 to use and 2 spares. They are the swash-grip pitch link, not servo-swash link.

Thanks. I suppose I should think about stretching one of my birds... I have two 500 and a stretch kit in the parts bin. I've just held off because I have a ton of 430 blades. I bought the and right about then my crash frequency plummeted.

+1

I had a heli with turnbuckles on the swash to servo links and they SUCKED. Hated trying to make swash adjustments. Went back to standard linkages

For the swash to blade grips, they're nice because you can get perfect tracking
