It was done freehand with little dagger strokes starting in the center with each color and then working outwards in the swirl pattern. Then I went back between the first layer of colors with a slightly darker one for some highlights. Then I highlighted with white strokes. I practiced it on a paper plate one time and then just went for it. It was actually one of the easier paintjobs I've done since it was mostly freehand.

i finish my X7 canopy today witch brushing. only clear coat i have to do (i dont know if it is the right word for this) i make it tomorrow

the lights not perfect to make photos, but i will show after it finished at weekend by daylight.
