Default ESC/BEC/Backup Guard ??????

I'm getting my electronics ready for my Goblin 500 build and was wondering what you all suggest. Im running a Castle ICE 100 and Quantum 4115-1200 motor, with Align 515 cyclic servos and a 655 tail servo, AR7200BX FBL. Should I run the ESC with internal BEC disabled and a Castle BEC PRO or run the ESC with internal BEC activated and Scorpion backup guard? I'm not sure I wanna run both, due to extra weight, and the extra cost. Ideas?

do not use an ice 100 bec. Had one fail on me and it seems pretty common when I searched after the fact. Castle support says not to use the bec for anything bigger than a 450.

That why they made the Talon. You can use its bec

I would use a qualty bec like western robotics, and I would never trust the ices bec even with the backup guard.

I'm going with a very similar setup just using the Lite ICE 100A and 4015 Scorpion. I am going to use a WR BEC and disable the one in the CC.

Earlier I was running the CC 100 BEC in my Stretch Protos with similar servos (510's and a full size tail) and found it was marginal under load on the 470mm blades so I won't trust it on my Goblin.
