Mine too, the anti-rotation pin sticking out of the swash will move, The blades will pick it up, but if it's doin' it in flight, Check the main gear on the bottom.

It will slide down and give up-down slop after even a small crash sometimes.

How about your Feathering shaft, RotorHead situation, mine's cracked underneath, took me a minute to find it. I made a new shaft for mine yesterday from cf rod .2mm smaller, I got play in me main shaft, but it didn't seem to affect it. But the cracked rotor head and pin slop has gotten me......

I noticed that my swash is starting to separate last night - I haven't done anything about it yet
For some reason HH can't seem to design a reliable swash on any of their micro heli's (or the SR) for that matter (I can ran't I've had them all ) This can be seen on mine quite easily, the top in half with the 4 balls (2 used) will move up and down in the main swash bearing by about 1mm, probably more if pushed I squeezed the top and bottom half of the swash between thumb and forefinger (easy to break the swash if not careful). the 2 halves pop back together But, it's too loose and will need work, on the SR the fix was either to carefully use some CA or use a soldering iron to finish HH's work and roll over the inner part to stop it pulling through the bearing This SR thread explains it well https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=223057 I've not tried it on the msrx yet so tinkerer beware!! |

Don't feel bad i was separating the stock swash plate on my CX2 everytime i flew outside.
it's real nice when you move the stick's and nothing happens except sliding into a tree at 30ft

It'll be an easy fix, I really do like HH and their innovations, but can't help but feel that they shoot themselves in the feet sometimes The msr came with that little red tool which was to help you push the swash back together when it separated, the bad swash on the SR was well documented and they came out with a revised version. It seems as though they have forgotten lessons learnt? |

Don't do this. It's designed to be able to slip down to divert/soak crash-impact from breakable (and more expensive) parts. Same as on the mcpx; people glued/screwed the main gear in place when the slip-down was noticed as an issue, and just ended up snapping or cracking their main shaft instead shortly afterward. MUCH more of a pain to buy a new one and replace it, than just making sure the gear's seated properly after any hard landings.

if you place a pin size drop in the crack on the gear it will slide down after a semi hard crash.
and will stay in place for the little throttle hold crashes
