You could probably put the 550 boom, torque tube, and blades on the thing and run very high headspeeds (2500-2800), but I'm not sure how well that would perform given that the 600 airframe with 2 batteries is significantly heavier than the 550L (I have both the 550L and 600L), and you probably want that extra blade surface area.

Unless you downsize to a 6s esc and 550L motor, gear, and pinion, I don't think you can get away with running 1 pack (6s), unless you ran a very very low headspeed. The super combo comes with a castle edge 80hv esc which is a 12s esc. I'm sure it could run it at 24v, but again, with that motor you would be limited in your headspeed signifcantly.

You can run smaller batteries at 12s, but my 600L only gets about 4 minutes on two 3300mah packs (doing 3d at 2500 headspeed). Even if you had 550 blades, I wouldn't go any smaller than 3300mah packs.

FWIW, I am running an Edge 80HV in my Huey on 6s. Comes down cool too.

If I do it it will be 12s. I'm thinking, 550 boom, torque tube, 95mm blades, 550 main gear, 600mx 520kv, 2x (2400-2700) 6s packs, somthing like this. If I can get about 3.5 min of 3d is fine with me. Any problem here? Thanks.
