Perhaps my mistake was hoping the 250 would be a good 'trainer' alternative to my 450 and would crash a bit better. I haven't even started using it to try new stuff yet, just been flying it and having fun, but nearly every trip to the field ends up with something broken.

Of course, there's no guarantee that the Oxy3 will crash any better, so there's that. If nothing else, I'll have 2 smaller helis to fly along with my pair of 450s.

I love flying my 450's but sometimes its nice to fly something a bit smaller for a change, and if my primary field is taken (full sized soccer field), I have several other options that are big enough for the 250/Oxy3 that I wouldn't be comfortable flying the 450's at.

I have to admit the smaller size makes me more comfortable flying my 250, I've learned a lot with it flying in my front yard almost daily. The 450 really does demand a field to truly flex it's blades.
