anyone tried the new 6 channel radio from futaba? 6.8ms reponse time

Seems competitive. It comes with an RX and is $.09 cheaper than the DX6i which doesn't have an RX. But I like to have an antenna on my TX.

Looks like the antenna is in the handle - like that. But, once again, no backlight.

The display does not belong on a 2011 radio! If it weren't for the display I would buy one now.

What people don't realize is that transmitter can only use the FHSS receiver. I work at a lhs and found out the hard way with a customer (couldn't figure out why it wouldn't link with a different FASST receiver). Too bad they didn't make it compatable to use both.

that's interesting. could you use FHSS receivers from other brands? or only from Futaba?
