Just found it for myself and remembered this thread.

The KX017011 I ordered came in a KX017008TA box which had me muttering unkind things about chinese purveyors of Align helicopters until I opened said box to find the gyro and tail servo inside. The box was sealed with Align tape so I have to conclude that's how it left the factory. The manual is that of the KX017008TA.

Here is a very good site that explains the differences between parallel and series. The site mostly focuses on charging, but obviously it works the same for discharging.

http://sites.google.com/site/tjinguy...erial-charging

http://sites.google.com/site/tjinguy...allel-charging

The short story:
Two 3S 2200mah batteries wired in parallel = one 3S 4400mah pack
Two 3S 2200mah batteries wired in series = one 6S 2200mah pack

when u guys first buy your new kits ,i guess you have to put a large part of it together.when you are doing your servo to swash rod links, are you making them to lenght that it says in the manual to start with.Or are you setting it to your preferance or to what ever it takes to make the swash level?

Start with the suggested length, then adjust them so that your swash is level, the mixing arms are all level, and there is zero pitch on the blades, with the servo arms centered. Make them however long they need to be to reach the servos. Usually the measurements for the upper links will be correct - try to match those exactly. This should cause all the mixing arms to be level with zero pitch on the blades, and it will determine the proper 'zero pitch swash height' ... follow me? Then you just make the servo links long enough to reach the centered servo arm.
