TREX 150 Tail wind drift
I have been getting my 150 dialed in but noticed today that in the wind the tail gets blown around. Forgot which way unfortunately.
This is surprising as during pitch pumps the tail is holding good. It only happens when there is low collective load in a breeze. Anybody else noticed this and found a solution? I will be putting a cut down SR120 tail blade on it tonight as I have to change a bent main shaft (lost orientation due to tail drift). Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |

yeah its weird but it does happen...try your gyro setting a little higher and what are you rate pots set at on your mrs unit? 42mm tail or 47? yeah I just confirmed....your gain pot is to low. when I turned mine down a little at a time the tail started drifting very slightly....not sure why yet. try the gain a little at a time and possibly your gyro maybe to low??? |
