Great mods guys, but I love my Eurocopter from Helimax!
Its four-bladed head SHOULD work on MCPX as well for those that want their own fuselages.

I suppose someone had to do it. My EC145 using the nine eagles fuse.
To fit it in I've had to reverse the servos and use a nano 3in1. Flies good but only for 2 mins. Probably needs to be brushless Question: do I set up the TX as an MCPX (75% pitch) or a Nano (100% pitch)?? |

Nice Job! The fit looks really good.
I'd use the MCPX pitch set up. Too bad about the flight time. Is it really that much heavier? |

65g in total, I.e. including hyperian 240 battery and Microheli frame (quickest way to reverse the servos)

It's not the weight!
Just added a blutack payload to the heli below to bring it up to 65g. It flew ok for 4 mins. I even swapped the motors to eliminate the motor. It was the same battery. In fact the only discernible difference is the Nano 3in1. It even sounds less powerful. Can the Nano 3in1 be the cause? I know others have used an MCPX with a Nano 3in1 successfully. Anybody have any ideas??? |

Good to hear the weight/motor/battery combination is OK.
I'd start with the battery leads. Solder a new (thicker) cable in place of the old one. Not that thicker wires are necessarily the solution, but battery leads have been known to weaken and break internally with no visible signs of a problem. Replacing the battery cable will eliminate it as a possible source. |

Thought of a 3in1 issue so again swapped it out with one of another Nano which was performing great.

Re: Post a pic of your Scale MCPX here
Been skimming through the pages so far and I'll be trying my scale with a bell h-13h 1:35 scale. Is there any scale settings that anyone has found to work the best? What about head speed for a more scale flight?

mCPx Scale MD500e
Been away from Helifreak for a while as I just didn't have much time to fly, nor fix any of my birds. Now that I'm unemployed, I had a little time to tinker around with getting my old msr MD500 fuse modded to fit my mCPx. Made my own custom landing skids (more scale than the crappy MIA ones) and lengthened the boom to fit the mCPx and then painted. Surprised at how the mCPx handled the extra weight (especially at 5500 ft elevation). Here are some pics and a vid of the maiden flight.

Just completed latest scale ec145 based upon a hubsan fuselage
Could do with a four blade head. Anybody fitted the helimax ec145 head on an Mcpx? Any body ordered spares for the helimax? Does the set of rotor clips come with bearings or are these separate? |

Bell 407 for mCPX BL
Here is my new model - a Bell 407 with four-leaf of Rakonheli.
In the trunk also fits the Blade 130X. It is a german kit. |

@garvin90: Yes, the producer of this kit is the german company Heli Scale Quality.
The blades are from Blade Bo 105 CB 130X. |

As you've probably misunderstood something. The Bell 407 is a mCPX BL works.

Tail rotor Bell 407
You turn the engine on the left side and turn the connector from the motor. The rotor blade stick again as to how the right side. That's all. Dead easy.

Where did you get that fuselage from?
