Yes it would be nice for outrage to come back. I've had mixed luck i had a v50n2 that was nothing trouble out of the box but I love my fusion and am trying to a buy a few more for parts and maybe a stretch project. I don't fly hard 3d, some mild and mostly big air stuff so I think it would be fun to try this. I have v90n2 kit which came with two tails, one old one new so if the boom works I've got all the stuff.

I've been looking into this more since v1 v90 tail booms are hard to find. The gaui x7 tail boom is plenty long (868mm) and is the right diameter. You need a ~767mm boom to work with the outrage v90 TT. Unfortunately I didn't get an exact measurement when I was building it.
I also am not sure if the v90 v1 tt or v2 tt is the one we need to fit the fusion splines, I might order some soon to find out. The TT I had fit the new style Fusion spline.

I believe its the v2. The gaui TT has pretty thick walls. I'll measure the TT ends insert this afternoon to be sure.

Just received my v1 v90 tt, they aren't right for F50 retro splines. I have a couple splines that fit, they must be from an original v90 because old F50 splines don't fit either.
V90 v2 tts were out of stock so can't check it.

Well I stripped a set of retro front TT gears in flight... luckily managed to auto down perfectly. I'm sure it didn't help the plastic to fly in 30°F weather though. It lasted 10 flights with 1850 head speed although the first 4 of them were with Rail 116 tails so that probably didn't help. I use 105 edge tails now.
It was flying so nice too... I have one more set of retro gears so I will give it another chance. I also think I will lower my head speed to 1800. If it strips again I will have to ditch the Fusion as a light low head speed 700 and get something else. I'm thinking the Raptor E700. Based on what I've read, the airframe is only 100-200g heavier than my stretch Fusion airframe. I'd just swap everything over from the Fusion.
