Default Opto cable with 10s?

Hi I am going to mount a Commander 130HV into my Logo600 that is currently on 10s 4500mah 30C packs and with a Scorpion HKII 4035-560kv motor.

Do I need the opto cable installed? Is it wise to use it as I have a spare one laying around?

I am planning on running Vbar gov.

You can try without, and use a regular servo extension, but if you have it lying around might as well use it. Without it you may have increased amount of "sensor glitches" errors in the vbar. Only way to tell is to try and see!

So with 12s it works with the red wire. If running lower cells I need to remove the red wire?

I am planning on using the BEC in the ESC.

No No!

Opto = Opto ISOLATION = wires are "cut" already.
If you do not use the opto cable you have to pull the red cable, regardless of voltage.
