Default Heads up on a great RX pack

Quick heads up for those wanting a high power light weight LifePO4 RX pack…I purchased the 1100mAh 6.6V 18650 pack 30C/60C (400317-001). Its only $27, weighs 95g and will deliver a continuous 33A and 66A bursts! Not that you EVER need such high current draw.
By it here http://rclipos.com/A123_Packs.htm OR if you live in the states its only $19.57 here (postage included) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/One-pcs-A123-AR18650-2S1PF-6-6V-1100mah-RC-hobbies-NEW-/380346743923?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item588e6e bc73
It is a far better value when compared to the Hyperion lifePO4 2100mAh 6.6V RX pack which weighs in at 106g and can only deliver a MAX current of 10.5A.
Sure you will have to charge more often, but it can be fast charged at a 4C rate. So who cares!

I’m going to try one out to see whether my BEC is causing electronic issues.

Here what I use , I just realized how light it is.
Hyperion G3 CX 7.4v 2S 850mah 25C/45C Lipo
73.5 x 25.8 x 12.5, weight 48g / 1.69oz

I get 3 flights before it goes under 80%, then I switch it out. I have 1 for ever 3 packs I have

All good if you have HV Servos, but if your stuck on the 6v gear like I am you"ll need a life pack.

Nice and light though at 48g.

Damn, so it sounds Like I'll only squeeze 4 flights in before a recharge, I was hoping for 6. Only testing will tell I guess. Maybe I'll just buy another.

Are you basing the 80% discharge rule on remaining voltage or how much capacity the charger is putting back into the pack?
