Default Canopy rubber grommets too loose

Hi,

I have the stock canopy rubber grommets that are too loose and the canopy comes comes off from the sides rubbing the FBL links and eating them away. Does anyone have this problem? Are there tighter grommets I could buy?

Thanks.

I actually had the opposite problem. I had to ream out the holes in my canopy just so I could get it on. So maybe try adding some electrical tape or something like that to shrink the diameter of the hole will work.

Firstly address the real problem, sand/grind the canopy so that your links operate without interfering with the canopy . Your reported problem may disappear - that link damage is severe

Canopy is actually fine. Sometimes during flight one of the lower sides pops out thus tilting the canopy to either side and getting the canopy's edge close to the FBL links. So I am looking too see if there are grommets from another brand possibly where the inner hole diameter is smaller so it fits tighter.

I run heat shrink on the canopy stand-off on my Warp for a stronger hold.
You can even use some funky colors, i like yellow in a black gromet
I shrink it around the stand off , cut the excess, re-heat, and secure with a bit of CA.
Looks quite neat.
