"Tracx head is nicer, beefier, better made the align heads, IMO. If you want to keep the 500, that's a good route. I put one on my 500esp -- v nice upgrade from an align head. That said, if you are open to another brand, do not hesitate.

Compass are nice machines. My buddy has a the mini protos and it flies, looks great, smoooth. Seems to fly "bigger" than it is. "

I just did, what you had done to your 500, to a Trex 550E (upgraded it to a Compass head). Made it a very nice flying machine!

Nice. I did mine a year ago and it shows no wear or slop, which is great. I was converting it from FB at the time, and stuck a Bx on it too, and so it amounted to a two-fold major makeover in terms of how it flies. A good way to hold onto / upgrade an existing machine if you're not ready to part with it IMO.

By the way, I met Mike from Nankin at IRCHA, as well as Compass' owner Luke. Indeed, a very interesting young guy from China. Me and a buddy had a long discussion about the 7hv, feedback on it, also learned quite a bit about compass and fascinating things about doing business in china, culture. One of the many highlights of IRCHA.
