Default usb connection - issues

I'm on an old HP laptop using Win10. When I plug in the usb cable all is fine, the SW starts in the Dev Tab, but I just jump to where I want to be and all is fine.

It's odd though during a setup or fine tuning, there are times when the SW sort of looses connection to the Robird. The SW stops responding to mouse or inputs, in 15-30 seconds the Robird reconnects and I can continue.

It does not seem to lose track of where I'm at, it's just annoying.

Have others experienced this and is there a fix?

That's normal. What is happening is that once you input a change, the Robird basically reboots itself after each change so it can calibrate, it will then reconnect.

You should still hit the save button each time you make a change, if only to ensure it took.

Seems different than I recall from before. Seems to happen at random times. Wonder if it's a driver or Windows 10 change. I can live with it, it's just annoying to have the swash jump around when trying to set collective pitch etc.

Thanks for responding though.

It could very well be drivers for W10 acting up.
