Default Anyone tried using metal washout arms on Aurora Rigidcore head?

I recently had yet another mishap with my poor Aurora. (Skip to the second paragraph to avoid the sob story! Lol) The pinion loosened up on me in flight and it lost power. I brought it down ok but it bounced a little and had a slight tipover. It ended up warping the snot out of the plastic washout arms and busted one of the links as well as wrapping one of the linkage rods around the head and busted the tips off the other one. Luckily, I've got extras sitting in a box so it was a quick fix, but it had me wondering.

Would it make sense to try and substitute metal arms from another machine (ie, Trex, Gaui, JR)? I would think it might actually help with phasing just a touch because there would be little to no flex. I can't say I've felt errors with the Avant parts in flight, but I do notice how flimsy they are. I can understand if this is the sacrificial part of the head that prevents further damage elsewhere. But I can't help but think it would be nice to have metal washout arms instead of plastic. Any thoughts?

I know that some guys have used JR Forza arms on the Mostro. I'm not sure if the arms on the Aurora are the same. I have a Forza too, I suppose I could take some measurements and see how they compare.

That would be a good idea I think? I don't have anything else to compare it to, but I've been told people used them off of other machines (probably JR or Align). I don't really have anything to lose by trying it out.
