Does anyone know if Logview is installed on a thumb drive if it still writes to the PC memory? I need to install it on my work laptop but don't want to install it directly on the PC itself, trying to see if it will work like Google Chrome with Portabler Apps.

Hmm.. never tried that but I don't think so because LV is using the personal directory area by %appdata%\ LogView.

Btw: Winfried was busy: dataexplorer is supporting JLog now. So we get alternative platforms like Linux and MacOS.
I did not test it yet - respectively have some problems, questions that I have to ask Winfried.

Thanks Tom,
That is what I found out when trying to change the directory, there was no way for me to do that through the set up wizard.

I'm not familiar with data explorer so I will read up on it with the link you provided.
