Thinking about a X5

Its ether that or a Trex 550 Im worried about getting parts when I need them. Where are you guys getting parts from in the good old USA?

I know Empire hobby can have parts sent to any local hobby shop pretty quickly.
Anyone else?

Hmm, that's a good question about parts availability

I looked and its kinda hit or miss, but I see alot of stuff backordered on empire

Im about to sell my 425 and get a x5 kit, I have a x5 frame im gona use for spares

Where is the best place to get parts?

I'm itching to buy the X5 as well. Unfortunately no one sells it in Singapore.
That means no spares as well which is really dissapointed. No choice but
to stick to my 550

You can also buy online, It works for me at lease.
waiting time are just a few days.. just stock up the common crashed parts and you are good...

Thats what I have to do anyway so getting the X5 is the same as getting the 550 because I have to order everything online already. There is a small hobby shop in town but they don't carry much with helicopters. I have him order parts a lot of the time because he hooks me up with good prices. I got a 450 pro super combo for 430 bucks. I couldn't find it at that price anywhere.
