Shuttle Sceadu
Just picked up an old as new unbuilt Shuttle Sceadu kit at a very good price.
It's the pre Evo version but has the SWM swash. Also included was a a new Irvine 39 ABC Heli Engine. The kit is the 30 version with 550 woodies. Has anyone here any experience with the Irvine 39, should I build as is or go directly to a 50 and spin 600s. |

Do you already fly collective pitch?
If you can handle a 450 size collective pitch helicopter the 30 will be a nice next helicopter fallowed buy the 50 size. Going from 450 to the 50 may be a little scary until you get used to the size/noise/pucker factor. Both will be a dream to fly once your up and flying. Just my .02

I can fly; I don't need this to be a trainer.
Though thinking about it this would be a great starter for my son, if I could get him interested. |

It's hard sometimes but I must ask the can you fly question.
So many 1st timers want to fly big helicopters. I'm sure you will love both helicopters! Ron
