Default Where to buy?

I want to get a Walkera 4G3. Where is the best place to buy? I looked around and found chinesejade.com and ehirobo.com. Are they both good sites? chinesejade.com has really good prices so if they are safe to buy a heli from a will.

Also I didn't know the walkera 4G3 brushless upgrade kit was available. It's on here
http://www.chinesejade.com/walkera4G3Upgrade.htm

It looks weird if you look at the picture, like it sits too high on the tail fin.

Terence at chinesejade.com is a thoroughly reputable dealer.

Ok, thanks for the input.

Now I am not sure about something else. ehirobo.com has the release date for the walkera 4g3 dual brushless for $224 and to be released on the 31st. It might be better waiting and just buying the dual brushless 4g3 instead of the single brushless 4g3 and then buying the BL tail addon. It looks like with the BL tail upgrade on chinesejade you have to solder and I don't want to risk anything. Plus I don't think the add on looks as good as 4g3 that defaultly comes with it.

Two points:

1. If you can hold out and afford the Double Brushless, I would!
2. If you are buying a heli, I would try to buy from the closest business possible just in case you have any problems or issues. Returns can be a real pain to businesses not in the US. ClubHeli.com is located in Allentown, PA and offers free shipping and great customer service. BP Hobbies is in New Jersey and is also very good.

Yea, I am definitely waiting for the dual brushless. Is the 2801 tx worth it? I will probably only get this one walkera heli.

Thanks, I'll check out clubheli.com. I know bphobbies is good because I ordered their before. Thanks for the help.

I would say not, also the 2801 is being superceded by the 2801Pro

Dusty... do tell! why don't you think the 2801 is worth it? From what I understand, the 2801 Pro only has a few minor additional features. Not looking to start a fight... I'm just interested in your opinion!

That's ok, I'm not looking to start a fight either

The 4G3 flies perfectly well with the stock 2601 TX, what difference would the 2801 make to how it flies?

There are adjustments on the 2601 for the throttle curve, pitch range and gyro - which I find are perfectly adequate for setting up my 4G3 and it flies pretty well as it is. The pitch range and headspeed are the way i want them - and when I get round to fitting the 2.9g tail (which I am certain will make a far bigger difference than a 2801 TX would) I'll be able to adjust the pitch range again to suit

The only thing I would like to be able to do that i can't with the 2601 is to centre the servos for proper set up, but again I probably wouldn't notice much difference in the way it flies if I did. I still fly my HBK2 on it's stock TX which is a lot less adjustable than the 2601.

Apart from that it seems daft to spend so much money on a TX for one tiny heli

If you live in Asia or China then Ehirobo and Chinesejade (in Hong Kong) would be reasonable sources. But for US residents, these oversea sources are simply too slow, risky and cumbersome and yet the prices are virutally the same as U.S. Dealers. Locally, I like Sureflite, Wowhobbies, Xheli, Toysonics plus there are plenty of local hobby shops to pick from.

+1 Dragonue! I would add Clubheli.com, RCHobbyHelicopter.com and RotorFever.com to your list of US stores as well!

+1 for Rotorfever.com. They don't sell the full heli right now. But they have great upgrades.
