I have had the same question a number of times and have even made a few threads asking about it. The closest I came was the HDX300 and most people said that it was a waste of time. All I'm saying is that I also would like (love) to know how the belt drive conversion works on the Blade helis. Michael

blade, go brushless tail then... those belt conversions arent the best idea for that heli. if you're going to spend that kinda money, you might as well go brushless main/tail w/401. fly just as good as a rex.

how can you put a normal gyro and get better tail performance with a tail motor?
you would need a second esc just for the tail motor to let it function better
what should i do to get better tail performance if the belt conversion is a waste?

if you want to go belt get a honey bee king 2 .

Blade CP is a good helicopter if you can hover it, you can hover anything.

I wouldn't waste money on belt drive conversion kit. just go buy those direct drive motor with 2 props for 10 bucks and fly with those, a lot of different.
