Default MY 2200 watt E-raven

Well here it is, just finished.:
10s2p 5000 mah Tanic packs
Kontronic Tango 45-08
Hacker 77-O-Heli ESC
615 Rotortech mains, 95 tails.
Futaba digital servos and GY 401.

I designed my own CF sideframes for this conversion, as you see they mount the batts high on each side for a high CG. Many thanks to Mark at MJP Carbon for cutting these for me.
Total weight RTF at this point with 1700 nicd rcvr pack is 8 pounds 4 ounces. I have an SBEC on the way that will allow me to toss the nicd pack and get weight right around 8 pounds.
This combo makes 2200 watts on paper (3 HP !!) . We shall see how it performs.

I was thinking of doing an electric conversion for my hawk sport and was wondering what goes into making that work. Do you have any info about hawk sport electric conversions? I have no idea the similarities between the hawk sport and raven, but imagine they have some. Any info would be appreciated.

Impressive, sounds like it has bags of power. Must be a pretty light machine because the auto hang time was pretty long for a 50size.

Sweet .
