Awsome Video on servo connector crimping! I have been looking for a nice kit for a while. Thanks for the link to Hansen. I have a deluxe kit on order.

So I got my kit! Well.... It is a little harder than APP's to crimp the servo connectors. I need to do it under a magnifying glass to make sure I have everything lined up perfectly before I crimp. NICE crimping tool though.

After watching your video on the EC5 connector I could very well be mistaken but I believe you put the female bullet in the wrong housing. I believe the female bullet goes in the male housing. Here is some pics of how HH sells them.

By the way, I do appreciate your time in doing your videos. They are very informative.

Thanks for the nice comment - appreciated YOu may have a point there - perusing the E-FLite page (who are the manufacturers) their heading photo - like HH do seem to show the female bullett in the smaller ie male housing - in their instructions though they just comment:

Quote:
While the bullet connector is still warm from the soldering process, insert it into the back of the appropriate plastic connector housing
Bottom line is it doen't matter as long as you are consistent! - I like the KISS principle so to me it made sense for the live terminals to have female bullett's inside female shrouds. It's very easy to knock out the connectors from the shrouds if you want to change the pattern but I think I'll stick to my way
