Just a quick flight tonight with the blue crown and no problems.

Head speed at 2200rpm, just nasty all round stick bashing. Enough to hit the capacity limit well before the timer.

Will up the tail gains and travel to what would normally eat a stock crown and see what happens.

They are stronger and don't pop teeth like an original one.

But the teeth are not quite as per the spec we requested. I'm going up Thursday to see them and then he should have corrected it by Tuesday and we'll test again.

I lost the same tail blade grip twice, the second time was lucky, Heli was still on the ground when it let go. Replaced the spindle, have not had any problems since. Read somewhere that there was a batch of spindles that the hole was not centered and caused vibrations in the tail that resulted in the nut backing off.

Tail vibe sounds.. Hopefully I can explain it well.

Spin tail up to full speed without mains obviously.

No vibes - it should sound like a nice handheld vac.

With vibes - it'll sound like those small 12v air pumps at full speed.

With the Faifa tail, there's no in between. Either you have vibes or you don't, and it'll sing it for you.
