Default First testflight with HK4525-520LE. WOW! And tailfailure...

Got my 4525 this week.
AWESOME power! No bogging at all.
Now we talking BIG SMILE

Filmed it and just testing the power and logging it.

6200 watts and 150amp...

Lost tail control during flight

nice flight lucky ending,i thought that bit was a week spot some poeple are pinning them,got one on my 550e think im of to do the same.

would have thought that it would have kept the Hs more consistent with all that power
whats your gov gain?
Also were your lipo's kept warm before the flight?

That was a really nice save I didn't think you were gonna make it

Is the cause the carbon rod coming out from its threaded end? What options are there for prevention?... PS... Fredrik... you are one bad man Sir!!!! That was some serious skill under pressure....

Have not touch the gov gain. It's a PowerJive 120HV. Could raise the gain little, but it feels good in the air.

The temp of the batteries were around 15-20 degrees C.
Ambient temp was -2 degrees C.

The carbon rod has been JB welded now. Booth ends
Had CA them before. So don't use CA and try to pin the rod!

+1 on the JB Weld, also file some nicks in the metal pushrod to give the JB Weld something to bite into.
