Default Blade length Raptor 50

Came across a set of Edge 623mm flybar blades for $50 dollars. I currently run 600mm stock TT rotor blades. What are the advantages or disadvantages to running longer blades?

If you go to 620 blades you will have to put the longer Titan tail on

More lift! Less disk loading! What motor are you running?

The longer tail boom is already in place.

Should work then. i remember when the 50 hyper came out all of the old hands were saying that we'd have to use longer blades to properly load the motor. i've never tried it on my 50 but I have the longer boom if I ever need it.
If you try them i'd love to hear what you think about them.

Flew the 623mm blades yesterday and my tail would jerk intermittently. I lowered the gyro gain but the problem persisted. I don't know if it has anything to do with the longer blades but I'll retry with the stock blades and see what happens.

Shouldn't be the blades unless they are out of balance and are shaking the gyro too much.

I'll check the blades for balance.
