i like edge 623 flybar blades. they give the quickest cyclic and collective response but get a little sensitive in fast flight. radix 625's are also good. not as snappy as the edge's but much more stable. compass 615's seem to do pretty well for all around flying. I like the slightly longer blades but im running a big 700mx to power them. might want to stick with 615 or less for stock motor unless you gear for less headspeed. Ive never tried the cyclone 615s but ive tried their 505's and 695's and they are my favorite so im sure the 615's are great.

I have used the compass 615's and spin 620 fbl. I like the compass ones better. The spins are really floaty. I plan on buying a set of cyclones and a set of the spin red tip at ircha.

main blades
I used radix 600, very precise and goog speed but expensive.
I tried rjx 600, but I feel it too soft... Now I run compass 615, very good blades. Stables, precise and popy!! |

I am running stock but preferred Edge 603SE when they were available.
I like the slightly higher disk loading.Going to try some Zeal 600's when I can get some.

I'm running the Rail 606 blades that came with mine, they seem to have good bite and response as far as I can tell, but I've only flown these so can't comment on others. Maybe I should look into a set of 615's to see what the difference might be.

I just switched over to the Cyclone 615 mains. I am very impressed with them. As of right now, if I had to chose between them and the Compass stockers, I would go with the Cyclones.

My personal favorite are the compass 615s. I like them better then any of the ones Ive tried rail, radix sb, cyclone, edge, kbdd, vblades, etc. Want to try helix 625s if they ever come out, and spinblades 610s. Would also like to try radix v2's.

I've been too addicited to the "halo" from my 615's to try anything else, but I'd really like to fly the Cyclones on mine.

i liked the radix v2's but even with my 700mx, it was getting worked pretty hard with my lack of collective management. my favorite are still the edge 623 fb blades. i just mashed both my sets though so gonna try stockers again. Ive never tried them with the new ultimate head which gives an extra 4mm length compared to the old head.

Good all around blade IMO the Compass blades.
Aggressive blades= Cyclones. Faster cyclic, more collective bite. I love these blades but I did need to lower pitch and cyclic a bit as they bit so much harder I was loading the head too much. Even after lowering, I'm drawing more mah from the packs simply b/c I fly more aggressively with the Cyclones. so be warned you may need to adjust timer down. Maybe not, but just to be safe, may keep an eye on that first few flights when you switch. |

so i got my compass blades today. threw them on the 6hv and was very surprised how they compared to my edge 623 fb blades. The compass are actually faster on cyclic. not what i expected at all. It was also pulling just as hard even though i lost 8mm on the length. Very happy i decided to try them again. When i tried them a year ago i wasnt really doing any 3d so i didnt have a good way to compare. I think these are my new favorite. Now im gonna have to try compass blades on my 7hv
